World Bank Delegation Meets CM Jagan
On Monday, a delegation of eight members from the World Bank visited Amaravati to meet with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and assess the progress of the projects being implemented with their support. The team was led by Auguste Tano Kouame, the Country Director for India.
During the meeting, the team reviewed the progress of three major projects: Andhra's Learning Transformation (SALT) project, the Andhra Pradesh Integrated Irrigation and Agriculture Transformation Project, and the Improved Health Services Project. The World Bank team praised the Chief Minister's efforts and commended the state's implementation of these projects.
Kouame, who was making his first visit to the state, expressed his appreciation for the state's reform efforts and assured the Chief Minister that the World Bank would continue to support Andhra Pradesh in achieving its mission and vision. He also promised to provide all possible assistance to the state for the next 25 years.
