The Rajasthan government's latest health bill has sparked a furious backlash from doctors, leaving private hospitals in a state of indignation. The Right to Health Bill provides every citizen with emergency medical attention in any hospital free of charge. But private hospital management claims it is an unjustified incursion into their affairs. In response to the contentious bill, medical practitioners across the state have been hitting the streets, clamoring for its withdrawal. Yet, one doctor, Anita, has taken a novel approach to the demonstration. She transformed her closed hospital in Seekar into a pani puri stall, replacing the signboard with a quirky new name: Anita Puchkavali. To top it off, she swapped her nameplate to that of a former private doctor. Anita stated that another physician had shut down their hospital and started selling parathas, but she refused to be silenced, and her innovative protest has caught the media's attention.
