Amaravati: The YS Jagan-led government in Andhra Pradesh has launched the Jagananna Gorumudda scheme to provide healthy and nutritious food to school children. Under this initiative, the government is committed to serving high-quality, nutritious, and delicious food to the students. Additionally, the scheme includes the provision of another nutrition item in the menu. On Tuesday, Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy officially launched the distribution of Ragi java to 37,63,698 students in 44,392 government and aided schools. The program began from the CM's camp office at 11 am and comes at an additional cost of Rs. 86 crores. The state government has made significant changes to the mid-day meal scheme, and the Jagananna Gorumudda initiative represents its commitment to providing nutritious food to school children.
