Jagananna Vidya Deevena: AP CM Jagan full speech at Tiruvuru

On Sunday, Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy pressed a button on his computer in Tiruvuru of NTR district and deposited Rs.698.68 crore into the accounts of 9.86 lakh student mothers under the Jagananna Vidya Diwena scheme. This is just one of the many ways his government has shown its commitment to providing education to the underprivileged. The Jagananna Vidya Deevena and Jagananna Dharam Devena schemes have already provided Rs.13,311 crore in assistance, along with clearing Rs.1,778 crore in dues from the previous government. These initiatives have benefited countless poor students who might not have had the opportunity to pursue higher education otherwise.

During his speech in Tiruvuru, YS Jagan emphasized the importance of education and how it is the only asset that we can give to our children. He also spoke about his government's efforts to promote the welfare of the people through the Navaratnalu scheme. While acknowledging the challenges faced by his government, YS Jagan took a dig at the opposition parties and questioned their motives in seeking alliances when they were not doing enough to help the poor.

The Chief Minister also spoke about his government's achievements in setting up new colleges and medical institutions. He mentioned that 14 new degree colleges had been established and 17 medical colleges were under construction. In addition, Rs.1.9 lakh crore had been directly transferred to the poor through DBT in the last 45 months.
