Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy, a senior Congress leader and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, is reportedly considering resigning from the Congress party to join the BJP. According to sources, Kiran Kumar Reddy has been in contact with the top leadership of the BJP, who have allegedly promised him a significant role within the party, similar to the one held by former minister Kanna Lakshminarayana. Lakshminarayana recently left the BJP to join the Telugu Desam Party. Kiran Kumar Reddy has served as a four-time MLA and was also the Speaker of the AP Legislative Assembly before being appointed Chief Minister by the Congress high command.
