NTR: On Tuesday, Minister RK Roja participated in a Kabaddi game with students at the SVM Prasad Memorial Women's Kabaddi Tournament in Jaggaiahpeta, NTR Krishna district. The Minister was the chief guest at the valedictory function of the tournament. Zilla Parishad Chairman Uppala Harika and Samineni Vimala Bhanu also joined Minister Roja in playing Kabaddi with the students. The Minister presented prizes to the winners of the women's Kabaddi competitions. During the event, Minister Roja highlighted the importance of empowering women and recognized their potential to achieve great things. She stated, "Women are not confined to the kitchen; they can soar to new heights and create wonders." Minister Roja also praised the Andhra Pradesh government's efforts to promote women's development and acknowledged Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's support for gender equality. The SVM Prasad Memorial Women's Kabaddi Tournament was organized to promote women's participation in sports and encourage their physical fitness.
