Top Tollywood producer Dil Raju is releasing a small, concept-focused movie called Balagam after achieving a massive blockbuster with Kollywood star Vijay's Varisu (Varasudu in Telugu) recently. The film, which debutante Venu directed, stars young comics Tillu Venu, Priyadarshi, and Kavya Kalyanram in the lead positions. The pre-release ceremony for Balagam was organized on February 28 at Bathukamma Ghat in Sircilla. Telangana minister KTR attended the event as the main guest. Speaking on the occasion, Minister KTR expressed his wish that the public would recognise the new talents in this film. He stated that they are pleased to learn that Venu directed the film, which was filmed in Rajanna Sircilla. KTR desired for the film to be a hit everywhere in the state, not just Rajanna Sircilla.
