Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh CID officials conducted raids at former Andhra Pradesh minister and TDP leader P Narayana and his daughters' residences in Hyderabad on Friday. According to the sources, the searches were connected to a case regarding an alleged scam involving assigned lands in Amaravati. The CID officials conducted raids at the properties of Narayana's daughters Sindhuri and Sharani at Madhapur, Kukatpally, Kondapur, and Gachibowli. According to sources, CID officials discovered that Narayana was involved in the formulation of the master plan of Amaravati when he served as the vice-chairman of APCRDA (AP Capital Region Development Area). He was also found to have purchased 65.50 cents of land in and around the capital area in June, July, and August of 2017 for a total cost of 4.23 crore through benami transactions.
