Chandrababu Naidu Praises Kanna Lakshminarayana
TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu welcomed senior leader Kanna Lakshminarayana into the party fold, hailing his contributions to state politics. Speaking at the party office in Tadepalli, the former Chief Minister praised Kanna's long-standing service, dating back to his leadership of the National Student Union in 1973.
Chandrababu noted Kanna's political activities during his tenure in the Assembly and as a minister, as well as his time as the state President of the BJP. He also joked about a past incident in which TDP cadre attempted to defeat him in an election at Pedakorapadu.
Despite their differences in political ideology, Chandrababu emphasized that he and Kanna had never targeted each other's personal aspects. The TDP Chief went on to commend Kanna's services during the period from 2004 to 2014, under the leadership of three Chief Ministers, saying he had proved his worth.
