Chittoor: Nara Lokesh, the national general secretary of the Telugu Desam Party, criticized the state police during his Yuvagalam padayatra in Chittoor. He recited a dialogue from a Balakrishna movie and accused the police of snatching away his microphone and stool while allowing attackers to damage the TDP office in Gannavaram without any consequences. Lokesh warned that he could easily retaliate against YSRCP leaders if party chief Chandrababu give the signal. He also stated that he will make the attackers march in public wearing only their underwear. Lokesh expressed confidence that the TDP government would return to power and he would be responsible for appointing police officials.
