IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao has welcomed the Welspun Group's decision to invest Rs 3,000 crore-Rs 5,000 crore in Telangana and establish industrial units in various sectors. This investment will be in addition to the Rs 2,000 crore spent to establish the state-of-the-art textile park in Rangareddy district. Rama Rao, who inaugurated the park, pledged full support to the company for expanding its operations in Telangana. He emphasized the government's efforts to attract investments to the state and urged local leaders to ensure that local youth are not deprived of employment opportunities arising out of industrial development. Rama Rao also envisioned Chandanvelley and Sitharampur region to become the largest industrial hub in Telangana with the arrival of Welspun Group and other industrial giants.
