Mahesh Babu expresses shock and grief over Tarak Ratna's demise, pens emotional note
Tollywood super star Mahesh Babu, has expressed his condolences on the untimely demise of actor and Telugu Desam Party leader Nandamuri Taraka Ratna. The actor passed away on Saturday at Narayana Hrudayalaya Hospital in Bengaluru, where he was undergoing treatment after suffering a massive heart attack during a road show in Kuppam, Andhra Pradesh on January 27.
In a heartfelt tweet, Mahesh Babu expressed shock and sadness at the news of Taraka Ratna's passing. He said, "Shocked and deeply saddened by the untimely demise of #TarakaRatna. Gone way too soon brother... My thoughts and prayers are with the family and loved ones during this time of grief."
Taraka Ratna, who was the grandson of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister NT Rama Rao and the cousin of Tollywood actor Jr NTR, was participating in a political event for Telugu Desam Party when he suffered a heart attack and collapsed. He was immediately rushed to a hospital in Kuppam, but was later transferred to Narayana Hrudayalaya Hospital in Bengaluru for further treatment.
