Amalapuram: A brutal gangr*pe of a 17-year-old girl by five individuals has shocked Katrenikona Manda in Dr BR Ambedkar Konaseema district. The incident, which occurred on February 6th, only came to light recently. The perpetrators allegedly dragged the victim into a nearby bush while she was on her way to fetch water in Chirra Yanam. The victim's father lodged a complaint, leading to the arrest of the accused by the police, who have registered cases under the POCSO act.
