Mohammed Shaleel, a resident of Belma in Deralakatte, has recently made it into the Guinness Book of World Records for his remarkable achievement in football. Shaleel has broken two previous Guinness records held by other footballers. Specifically, Shaleel has achieved an impressive feat of 10 rounds in only 30 seconds while juggling a football. To put this into context, a person in Dele, England had achieved 7 rounds in 30 seconds in 2017, while female football player Tasha Nichole Terani from West Lake village in California had hit 18 rounds in one minute in 2020. Shaleel, who is the son of R B Abdul Hameed and Mumtaz of Belma in Deralakatte, is currently a final year student at Yenepoya Aviation and Logistics College in Kulur.
