Maharashtra: In a heartwarming incident from Ashapur village of Sinnar taluka in Nashik, Maharashtra a domesticated cat and a wild leopard were found trapped together in a well on Tuesday morning. Despite initial fears that the larger predator was chasing the smaller prey, the two cats worked together to escape the well and were later rescued unharmed. According to forest department officials, both cats may have fallen into the well while the leopard was chasing the cat. However, once trapped, the survival instincts of the felines kicked in and they made getting out of the well their top priority. The cat even tried to jump on the leopard's back to find a way out, but to no avail. Thankfully, the leopard did not harm the cat, and the two were eventually rescued by forest officials who were alerted to the incident by a farmer who had discovered the trapped animals.
