Samantha's Shaakuntalam postponed
The release of Samantha Ruth Prabhu's Shaakuntalam has been postponed and a new release date will be announced soon. This was confirmed by the filmmakers in a press statement. The film, directed by Gunasekhar, features Samantha and Dev Mohan as Shaakuntala and Dushyantha roles
The cast including Mohan Babu, Kabir Duhan Singh, Aditi Balan, Gauthami, Prakash Raj, Ananya Nagalla, and Allu Arha. Produced by Neelima Guna under Gunaa Teamworks, the mythological drama will be available in 2D and 3D formats.
Gunaa Teamworks announced the update and wrote on the post as "We regret to inform our beloved audience that we would not be able to release Shaakuntalam this 17th of February. We would be announcing the release date soon. Thank you for your continued support and love."
