Major fire breaks out at Chikkadpally godown in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: A massive fire broke out at a storage facility near VST in Chikkadpally in the early hours of Thursday. According to the sources, fire officials report that the godown stored tents, decorative items and other items used for function halls gutted in the fire and the fire sprawled to two other buildings. Upon receiving the emergency call, fire department immediately dispatched a few fire trucks to the scene.
As the fire grew in intensity, more fire trucks were sent. Fortunately, no injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is yet to be determined. Seven fire trucks from various fire stations were deployed to control the flames.
