'Yelelo Yelelo', third single of Samantha starrer Shaakuntalam is out
Shaakuntalam, starring Samantha, is a mythical love story between Shakuntala and Dushyanth, based on Kalidasa's Sanskrit play "Abhijnana Shakunthalam." Gunasekhar, known for directing such films, is at the helm of this project. The trailer and the first two songs have already been released. The latest addition to the music is the lyrical video of the third single, "Yelelo Yelelo..." The song showcases Shakunthala as a pregnant woman longing for her husband's love, and it was filmed on a boat with Prakash Raj playing the role of the boatman singing the song.
Anurag Kulakarni's soulful vocals enhance the depth of the song, while Mani Sharma's composition is soothing and the lyrics, penned by Chaitanya Prasad, are clear and effectively backed by instruments. The lyrics depict Shakuntala's pain and longing for her love.
The film is produced by Gunasekhar's home banner 'Guna Team Works' and co-produced by his daughter Neelima Guna with Hanshita Reddy and Dil Raju's Sri Venkateshwara Creations.
