Massive fire breaks out at sports shop in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A massive fire broke out at a sports shop in Nallagutta, Secunderabad on Thursday morning. The incident took place at the Deccan Nightware Sports Shop under the jurisdiction of Ramgopalpet Police station at around 7 to 7:30 am.

According to reports, six people were trapped on the top floor of the building when the fire broke out. After receiving the information from the locals, the fire tenders immediately attended the scene and efforts were made to bring the fire under control. sources said that the fire officials rescued four people trapped on the top floor with the help of a crane and needs to rescue two others.

Though there have been no reported casualties, the firefighters have been facing difficulties due to the spread of smoke. The cause of the fire is not yet known, and an investigation is currently underway.
