New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked the Telangana BJP leaders to take inspiration from TDP founder and former chief minister NT Rama Rao (NTR) as they gear up for the forthcoming assembly elections in the state. According to sources, Modi described NTR as a "people's leader" for his strong connection with the public and his success in winning the 1983 elections just nine months after forming the TDP. "This should serve as an inspiration for Telangana BJP," Modi is reported to have told state leaders. pm Modi also highlighted how NTR's hard work led to the TDP's success and encouraged Telangana BJP leaders to fight the election battle with determination and enthusiasm. The Prime Minister's comments were made during a national executive committee meeting in Delhi on Tuesday, where the party leadership's main focus was on Telangana.
