Kothapeta: Tensions were high at the Prabhala Theertham of Kothapeta after police denied permission for dances during the procession. According to local sources, the management of the Prabhala Utsava Committee stopped the 'Prabhalu' on the main road and expressed their protest. They stated that they would not remove the Prabhalu from the road until the police granted permission for dance programs. It is said that two persons injured in the incident and they were immediately rushed to a nearby government hospital for treatment. It was reported that some political party leaders intervened in the matter and helped to resolve the issue. The management of the committee stated that they would attend the Prabhala Theertham to be held at Jagganna Thota today
