Jagtial: A group of miscreants carried out a major theft at SBI ATM, Tandriyala branch in Korutla town of Jagtial district in the wee hours of Sunday. The incident was recorded on the CCTV cameras installed on the premises. According to the sources, a few criminals broke into the ATM which is just a few stones away from the police station and stole around Rs 19 lakh. It is said that the thieves covered the CCTV cameras before committing the crime. The locals who noticed the incident informed the patrolling police and the police quickly sprang into action and chased after the thieves, in a manner similar to a scene from a movie. The thieves attempted to escape through the lanes but were eventually caught by the police. A total of four people have been arrested in connection with the incident.
