Yadadri: Shantikumari, the new Chief Secretary of the Telangana, recently visited the Yadagirigutta Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy temple along with her family. This was her first visit to the temple since taking on her new role. She and her family were greeted by the temple priests with a traditional Purnakumbha ceremony. Afterwards, they participated in the celestial wedding of Goddess Godadevi and Lord Ranganayaka Swamy, which was held as part of the Dhanurmasa celebrations, and performed special puja rituals. Shantikumari, who is a 1989 batch officer, will continue to serve as CS until April 2025. She has previously served as the Special Chief Secretary of the Forest Department.
