Telangana former CS Somesh Kumar meets AP CS Jawahar Reddy
Vijayawada: Former Telangana Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar met with Andhra Pradesh CS Jawahar Reddy at the state Secretariat. Speaking to the media, he stated that he had arrived in Vijayawada as per the orders of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) to report for duty in the Andhra Pradesh state government. He emphasized that as a civil servant, he is obliged to carry out the duties assigned to him by the state government.
Following the meeting, Chief Secretary Jawahar Reddy and Somesh Kumar went to the CM Camp office to meet the state's Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Rumors had also surfaced earlier that Somesh Kumar would take voluntary retirement (VRS) after the Telangana High Court directed him to move to the Andhra Pradesh cadre.
