Since Tuesday morning, investigators from the Andhra Pradesh Crime Investigation Department (AP CID) have conducted raids at three of the properties owned by former minister, TDP leader, and educationist Ponguru Narayana in Hyderabad. The offices of NSPIRA in Madhapur are reportedly being searched primarily by several personnel of the AP CID. According to reports, the raids began at 10 am and were related to the alleged scam of buying designated lands in the Amaravati capital district. According to reports, the searches were initiated as a result of the discovery of a significant fund transfer from Narayana's NSPIRA to the Ramakrishna Housing Society. Ramakrishna Society was given designated acres to buy in Amaravati, it was discovered during a prior probe by the AP CID. The CID officials searched NSPIRA on Tuesday and are learnt to have taken over 45 hard disks that contained important data in addition to other items. The investigating authorities apparently also interrogated a number of corporate personnel.
