Haryana Sports Minister Sandeep Singh on Sunday announced that he had given Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar control of the Sports department till the investigation's findings was released, hours after sexual harassment allegations were made against him. Singh added that the accusations were made against him in order to harm his reputation. "There is an effort to defame my reputation. I hope the baseless accusations made against me will be thoroughly investigated. I give the CM control of the sports department till the investigation's report is released "Singh remarked. In response to a complaint made by a female coach accusing the Haryana Sports Minister of sexual harassment, the Chandigarh police have filed a FIR against him.
