Guntur: Tension escalated in Tenali after some unidentified miscreants set fire to Anna Canteen on Saturday night. According to the sources, a fire broke out at Anna Canteen and the alerted locals informed to the fire tenders and police. After receiving the information from the TDP activists, the police and fire tenders rushed to the spot and doused the fire. Panic gripped among the locals as there are many shops in the lane. It is said earlier, a clash took place between YSRCP and TDP on Anna canteen and two groups erected canteens in the Market centre and due to heavy traffic, the police and municipal officials closed the centres.
