YSRTP President YS Sharmila terms TRS party as 'Bandits Rashtriya Samiti'

Sister of Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy and chief of the YSR Telangana Party, YS Sharmila, attacked Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Wednesday, dubbing him "the richest bandit in the country" and accusing him of stealing Rs 70,000 crore in funds obtained from National Financial Institutions.

The YSRTP President claimed in an interview with the ANI news agency that CM KCR failed to protect the state's farmers because 8000 of them allegedly committed suicide. She has also criticised CM KCR for refusing to approve crop insurance programmes.

If CM KCR is unable to protect the state farmers, how can he protect the farmers of the country, YS Sharmila questioned.

She was reported by news agency ANI as saying, "He (KCR) is the richest bandit the country as he is involved in the Kaleshwaram (irrigation project) corruption fraud... syphoned off 70,000 crore in funds from banking institutions.

"Bandit's Rashtra Samithi' not Bharat Rashtra Samithi.", YS Sharmila alleged.
