An issue unlike any other is plaguing the villages of Uttar Pradesh's Hardoi district's Ahirori block. The local daughter-in-laws are leaving their in-laws to go back to their home country because they are sick of the flies. The news of the unusual issue these communities are experiencing has gone widely throughout the surrounding areas of Uttar Pradesh. Following the establishment of a commercial poultry farm nearby in 2014, these villages have essentially turned into a fly breeding ground. In the previous three years, when the number of flies reached thousands, the situation deteriorated. Residents of Badhaiyan Purwa are protesting the situation outside the village as it continues to exist.
