'When Biden appealed to Modi...': White House moots for India as ‘Great Power’
According to a White House official, India won't be a close partner of the United States since it wants to become a major power. Kurt Campbell, the White House Asia Coordinator, stated that he believed India to be the most crucial bilateral partnership for the United States in the twenty-first century when speaking at the Aspen Security Forum gathering in Washington. No other bilateral relationship, according to him, has grown and strengthened more quickly over the past 20 years than that between the two nations.
When President Joe Biden and his administration chose to elevate the Quad to the leader level, Campbell recognised that Indians had mixed feelings.
