India gay sprinter Dutee Chand's viral pics with girlfriend fuels wedding rumours

After tweeting a photo of herself with her lover Monalisa on Friday, Dutee Chand, India's first out lesbian sprinter, fueled wedding rumours.

The sprinter posted the image on Twitter.

Chand tweeted a photo of herself and her partner and wrote, "Loved you yesterday, love you still, always have, always will.

Her management, however, denied any marriage rumours, claiming that the two had travelled together to Dutee's family's private event.

"No (on rumours of her marriage). They both went to the wedding of Dutee's sister "Manager spoke with reporters.

In 2019, Chand came out as gay. She was recently spotted sprinting with an LGBTQ flag in the Commonwealth Games 2022 to raise awareness and support for the LGBTQ community.

The National Games were recently conducted in Gujarat from September to October of this year, and Dutee Chand took part in them.
