Kovvuru: Telugu Desam Party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu interacted with the women in Kovvuru and recalled what TDP did to the Telugu women. Interacting with the women at the Idhem Karma event, Chandrababu Naidu said that his government gave gas connections to the households to solve the problems of women. He said that after witnessing the problems of women, the TDP government constructed toilets to every household in the name of Athmagouravam but now the YS Jagan-led government levying taxes on them. Chandrababu Naidu stressed that the Dwcra groups were introduced by him to make women self-reliant. He alleged that the YS Jagan government now using Dwcra groups for his meeting. Naidu said that he provided 33 per cent of reservations to women in the state to get chances in educational institutions and employment.
