Amaravati: Senior Congress leader Gidugu Rudra Raju has been appointed as the new Chief of the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC). All India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary KC Venugopal released a note regarding this. AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge approved the appointment of the new PCC chief and other 18-member Political Affairs Committee (PAC). Gidugu Rudra Raju replaced the former minister Sake Sailajanath. Gidugu Rudra Raju is from the Brahmin community and is from Amalapuram in the Konaseema district. Mastan Vali, Janga Guthamn, Padmasree Sunkara and P Rakesh Reddy were appointed as working presidents.
