The ministry has been carrying out the process of transferring it directly to the cell phone using specific types of apps. It is making efforts to make it accessible soon. According to Union Information and Broadcasting Secretary Apoorva Chandra, the NCR will be the first place where the trial project is executed. Similar to FM radio, it operates at that frequency. There would be a receiver in it to pick up the radio frequency. Mobile phones use a combination of broadcast and broadband technologies to activate. Speaking at the Big Picture Summit on behalf of the Confederation of Indian Industries, Apoorvachandra, said, the number of viewers will grow because, according to the reports, TV broadcasts directly reach cell phones. There are currently 20 crore TVs in the nation. There are 80 crore broadband connections and 60 crore smartphones.
