Penukonda: CBI officials are conducting raids at the residence of Telugu Desam Party state executive secretary Savith. According to the sources, the searchers are going at her residence in Penukonda, Sri Satya Sai district. Savita's husband Venkateswara Rao is working as a railway contractor and the CBI officials from Bengaluru are conducting raids after alleged irregularities took place in the railway contract works. It is stated that the searches are going on in a case registered in Karnataka. It is learnt that the CBI officials did not inform the local police and reportedly seized important documents.
