Hyderabad: Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party president Bandi Sanjay was stopped by police and shifted to Abdullapurmet police station at midnight. According to the reports, police stopped him while he was on his way to the Munugode constituency to stage a protest against the ruling TRS party for not leaving the constituency violating the polling guidelines ahead of by-polls. It is learnt that the police stopped Bandi Sanjay at Malakpet. An argument took place between the BJP activists and the police. BJP activists and leaders demanding to release Bandi Sanjay immediately.
