RGV meets CM Jagan
On Wednesday, controversial filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had a meeting. Mr. Varma left Hyderabad for Tadepalli. CM Jagan and Mr. Varma reportedly held meeting for more than 30 minutes, according to sources. Mr. RGV and CM Jagan ate lunch there afterwards.
It should be remembered that during negotiations with the AP government over the subject of cinema ticket prices, earlier, Mr. Varma had once met the then-Cinematography Minister Perni Nani. After that, there is no record of Varma meeting with the AP government officials. There is an interesting conversation going on concerning Mr. RGV's unexpected presence in Vijayawada and his subsequent encounter with CM Jagan.
