Uday Umesh Lalit, the Chief Justice of India, visited to Tirumala. The CJI couple was welcomed by TTD Chairman Subba Reddy and EO Dharma Reddy. The Vedic scholars performed vedashirvachanam after the darshan. Theertha prasadam and a portrait were presented to the couple. The CJI couple took part in the Hanumantha Vahana Seva later. According to a temple official, Chief Justice of India Justice U U Lalit performed worship on Saturday at the revered shrine of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala during the auspicious festival of Garudaseva of Navaratri Brahmotsavam. The Supreme Court judge came to the holy city with his family for a single day after being sworn in as India's 49th Chief Justice on August 27.
