Pune’s Chandni Chowk old bridge demolished with explosives within 6 seconds, viral visuals

Pune: The officials demolished an old bridge with explosives within six seconds in the Chandni Chowk area in Pune in the early hours of Sunday. Now the visuals are doing rounds on the internet. The bridge was constructed in the early 90s on Mumbai-Bengaluru Highway (NH4) in the Chandni Chowk area. Edifice Engineering, the company that demolished the Noida's Supertech twin towers was roped in for the demolition of the Pune bridge.

As per the reports, several earthmover machines and trucks were deployed in the service to remove the debris and steel structures after demolishing the bridge. The bridge was demolished as a part of the development project to solve the traffic issue.
