Delhi liquor scam: ED arrests liquor trader Sameer Mahendru

New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials intensified the investigation in the Delhi liquor policy scam case. According to the reports, the ED officials arrested businessman Sameer Mahendru, the Managing Director of Indospirit Group in connection with the Delhi liquor policy case today. The CBI officials alleged that businessman Mahendru was actively involved in irregularities in framing and implementing the excise policy.

Earlier, CBI officials arrested Vijay Nair in connection with the Delhi liquor policy case on Monday. The ED conducted raids at 35 locations across the nation on September 7th and also searched the Jor Bagh residence of Mahendru.
