On Thursday, Tammineni Sitaram, the Speaker of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly, suspended 16 MLAs from the House for one day. Following the suspension, the TDP MLAs convened a press conference where they supported the idea of a single capital with universal support and in accordance with constitutional provisions.
