The Padma Shri recipient Kamala Pujari, aged 71, was allegedly made to dance in a hospital by a female social worker, before being released, according to members of the Paraja tribe in Odisha. Kamala Pujari claimed that she had no interest in dancing. The social worker said she did not have any malicious intentions when responding to the contentious video. The social worker Mamatha Behera defended her actions by saying that she only did to get her out of her laziness.
