According to Union Minister G Kishan Reddy, Hyderabad has emerged as a global centre for health. Following the opening of the Srikar Hospital near RTC Cross Road in Hyderabad with Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, he made these remarks. At the hospital's opening, the lamp was also lit by Telangana's home minister Mahmood Ali and state finance minister Harish Rao. According to Minister of Tourism, Culture and Development of North Eastern Region of India, G Kishan Reddy, the Central government is eager to introduce a Medical Tourism Policy in the Union Budget for the following year. He assured to implement the policy rules in a transparent way. The governor of Haryana, Bandaru Dattatreya addressing on the occasion, said the Ayushman Bharat programme is beneficial to the entire nation.
