According to Telugu Desam State President Atchannaidu, the CM Jagan administration is intimidating opposition leaders and activists by maintaining control over the police force. He asserted that it is hard to calculate the number of persons who have been imprisoned in the past three years due to false accusations made against them. Telugu Desam has pledged to support the people who experienced difficulties under the YSRCP's leadership, Atchannaidu made this promise. According to the allegations, some police officers conspired with YSRCP leaders to file false charges, detain activists in the middle of the night, and threaten them with third-degree harassment. He declared that the cops who are breaking the law would be subject to punishment on the day Chandrababu took the oath of office as chief minister.
