Asaduddin Owaisi appeals to maintain peace

Hyderabad: AIMIM chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi requested the people to maintain peace and harmony on Friday. It is known that the police arrested BJP Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh after his controversial remarks.

Asaduddin Owaisi took to his Twitter handle and tweeted as "Meri Hyderabad ke awaam se khaas appeal. Jum’ah humaare liye Eid ul Momineen hai. Humari koshish honi chahiye ke kal ka Jum’ah pur-aman tareeqe se guzar jaaye."

Earlier, he tweeted as "If this is how desperate BJP is for one bypoll, what’ll it do in general elections? It wants to set the state on fire. It wants burnt homes, empty shops, closed schools & curfews. Inshallah, won’t let them succeed. Telangana will be mukt of violence as long as it’s mukt of BJP."
