Suspended MLA Raja Singh shifted to Cherlapalli Central Jail

T Raja Singh, a suspended BJP lawmaker, was taken into custody again on Thursday, but this time on an old charge. T Raja Singh has reportedly been transferred to Cherlapally Central Prison.

The Hyderabad police used the Preventive Detention Act against the suspended BJP leader. He is a rowdy sheeter of the Mangalhat Police Station, according to a statement from the Hyderabad City Police, who has reportedly 101 charges filed against him, reportedly 18 of which are for crimes against the community.

Raja Singh was previously arrested for allegedly making offensive comments against the Prophet Mohammed. Hyderabad experienced a large-scale protest in response to his disparaging remarks.
