CM KCR reportedly expresses anger toward Kavitha over alleged Delhi liquor scam

Hyderabad: The alleged Delhi liquor scam landed Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's family in trouble and the issue flared up political tensions in the state. According to the sources, CM KCR expressed anger toward his daughter Kavitha after Delhi BJP MLA Parvesh Verma and former Delhi MLA Manjinder Sirsa alleged that Kavitha was involved in a liquor scam. It is said that KCR said that it was inappropriate to interfere in the conflicts.

Delhi BJP leaders alleged that the Delhi liquor policy was framed after the KCR family's suggestions and alleged that Kavitha was involved in the transactions. Reacting to the allegations, MLC Kavitha denied all the allegations and asserted that she doesn't have any role in the alleged Delhi liquor scam. She further stated that BJP leaders intentionally claimed the allegations targeting her father KCR who criticising the policies of Modi's government.
