Amit Shah, a senior member of the BJP and Union Home Minister, is scheduled to visit Telangana today ahead of the Munugode by-election in the Nalgonda district. He will also speak at today's public gathering in Munugode. In Amit Shah's presence, Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy, a former MLA for the Congress who recently left the party, would join the Saffron party. BJP MLA Etala Rajendar responded to CM KCR's public gathering at Munugode one day before Amit Shah's visit to the constituency by alleging that despite knowing that Amit Shah will address the people of Munugode on August 21, CM KCR addressed the people on August 20 in an effort to disturb them. He has criticised CM KCR, claiming that it was due to his unethical politics. According to Etala, just as the BJP cadre established a solid platform in Huzurabad, they will collaborate in Munugode.
