Nirmal, August 21: The police arrested two students of the Basara IIIT and recovered 35 grams of ganja from them. Both are second year engineering students. One is from Maharashtra and another student belongs to Karimnagar district. Students were caught by patrolling police outside the campus. They were procuring banned substance from Nanded district in Maharashtra. According to police, arrested students were addicted to consuming ganja for a long time. A case under the NDPS Act registered against them. Parents of other IIIT students are worried with the news of ganja usage on campus.
