Raja Chari, an Indian-American astronaut with Hyderabad roots, posted a picture of the Indian flag aboard the International Space Station (ISS) to welcome the nation. The Indian American astronaut expressed his excitement about working with India and offered his congratulations on the country's 75th anniversary of independence. The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and NASA, he claimed, have a long history of collaboration. After serving for six months in the ISS, Raja Chari recently made his way back home. In May, a SpaceX spacecraft carrying four astronauts successfully splashed down in the Gulf of Mexico. Chari was one of them.
